Leggett, Public Safety and HHS Chiefs Announce Dementia Friendly Initiative

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett, public safety and Health and Human Services officials will announce the County Dementia Friendly initiative. It will address improvements in public safety supports and ways to access help through HHS and public safety.

Joining Leggett will be Police Chief Tom Manger, Fire Chief Scott Goldstein, HHS Chief of Aging & Disability Services Jay Kenney and Fernand Dahan, a community member who benefited from County services.

Note to Editors: The event will include displays of the kits that public safety personnel provide to affected families and a public safety training video.
