County Executive and Other Public Officials to Participate in Ribbon-Cutting Celebration for the Opening of Satellite Capital Bikeshare Network in Wheaton

(intersection of Georgia Avenue and Reedie Drive, parallel to Georgia Avenue outside the Metro)

 

 

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and other officials will host a ribbon-cutting celebration at the Wheaton Metro Bikeshare Station.

 

Leggett will be joined by Council President Roger Berliner, Council Vice President Hans Riemer, Councilmember Nancy Navarro, Maryland Department of Transportation Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy Analysis and Planning Charles C. Glass, and Montgomery County Planning Board Chair Casey Anderson.

 

This is one of five Bikeshare stations that recently were installed in Wheaton. These stations connect people to Wheaton Metro and nearby destinations while strengthening overall the Montgomery County Bikeshare network.
