Montgomery County to Host First Design for Life Showcase: Living for All Ages and Stages of Life

One Veterans Place, Silver Spring

 

Montgomery County's Department of Permitting Services will present the first Design for Life Showcase which will feature building professionals who specialize in accessible or universal design.

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and Councilmember George Leventhal are scheduled to make remarks at 11 a.m.

The event showcases how beautiful an accessible home can be and how universal design elements can be added to any home. Photo opportunities include a walk-in tub display; virtual reality 3D displays and finished home models and floorplans.

There will also be information on how residents can benefit from the Montgomery County Design for Life Property Tax Credits and other resources available for accessible design concepts.
