Leggett Celebrates New Protected Bike Lanes; Will Announce New Initiative About Biking in Montgomery County

Tuesday, October 3, 2017; 2:30 p.m.

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and others will cut a ribbon for new, protected bike lanes – the first in Silver Spring. At the event, Leggett will make an announcement about a new bicycling initiative in the County.

Leggett will be joined by Vice President Hans Riemer, Peter Gray, board member of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, and Department of Transportation Director Al Roshdieh.
