Montgomery County Weekly Media Briefing Set for Thursday, March 21 at 11 a.m. Will Focus on MCPD Recruitment & Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County's Chief Administrative Officer Rich Madaleno questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing Thursday, March 21 at 11 a.m.

This week Mr. Madaleno will discuss solutions to Montgomery County Police Department’s staffing challenges. He will also highlight the need to expand the number of Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams used to help people through a crisis. This week's guests will be:

  • Captain Mike Pratt, Montgomery County Police Department
  • Beth Tabachnick, manager, Montgomery County Crisis Center

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 9 a.m. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
