Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing Set for Wednesday, April 24, to Focus on UMD - Institute for Health Computing & Montgomery College’s East County Opening

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, April 24, at 1 p.m.

The County Executive will discuss several significant developments for Montgomery County, including updates on the University of Maryland - Institute for Health Computing and the opening of Montgomery College’s East County Education Center in White Oak. This week’s guests are:

  • Brad Maron, co-director, University of Maryland – Institute for Health Computing
  • Jermaine F. Williams, president, Montgomery College 

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'connor@montgomerycountymd.gov by 11 a.m. on the briefing day. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.

You can view the media briefing live on the County Executive’s X account (@MontCoExec) or the County's Facebook page. However, due to a scheduling conflict, it will not air live in its entirety as it typically does on County Cable Montgomery.
