For Immediate Release: Tuesday, May 28, 2024

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29.

The County Executive will discuss a recent report that shows significant progress on meeting the County’s Climate Action Plan goals. He will also expand on this month’s economic mission to Korea and China after providing a brief update during last week’s media briefing.

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.

You can view the media briefing live on the County Executive’s X account (@MontCoExec) or the County's Facebook page. However, due to a scheduling conflict, it will not air live in its entirety as it typically does on County Cable Montgomery.
