TONIGHT: Montgomery County Executive Elrich to Join MoCo Pride Center for LGBTQ+ Arts and Cultural Event to Kick Off Pride Month “Live In Your Truth”

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will join the MoCo Pride Center at 6:30 p.m. in Silver Spring to kick off Pride Month with a flag raising during "Live In Your Truth", an arts and culture event designed to celebrate and educate the LGBTQ+ community.

MoCo Pride Center will lead all activities, which include live entertainment, a pop-up art market and wellness screenings provided by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

MoCo Pride Center will also announce the winner(s) of the “Pride in the Plaza” official t-shirt design contest. The t-shirt with the winning design will be given away at Montgomery County’s annual “Pride in the Plaza” celebration, scheduled for noon - 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring. 

The MoCo Pride Center is a 501(c)3 organization that serves the LGBTQ+ community and its allies in Montgomery County.
