Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing Set for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28

Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 1 p.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

The County Executive will discuss timely topics like changes to the MCPS cell phone and social media policies to coincide with the new school year. The County Executive will also discuss the upcoming reopening of four Metro stations along WMATA’s Red Line.

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 11 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
