Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, to Focus on Continued Rescue Efforts & Breast Cancer Awareness

Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

The County Executive will discuss Montgomery County’s continued participation in rescue efforts due to extreme weather in Florida. He will also talk about a community event this weekend focused on breast cancer awareness. The County Executive also reacts to the grand opening of a $286 million office for Millipore Sigma in Montgomery County this week. His guests will be:

• Maryland Delegate Pam Queen, District 14
• Chief Corey Smedley, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 9 a.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
