Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and County Council President Andrew Friedson to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 1 in Clarksburg for the Clarksburg Fire Station

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and County Council President Andrew Friedson will join other Councilmembers, elected officials and community leaders at noon on Friday, Nov. 1 to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the Clarksburg Fire Station #35, located at 23420 Frederick Road in Clarksburg.

The new fire station serves a current and expanding population in the Clarksburg area near the I-270 Corridor and Rt. 355.

The Clarksburg Fire Station #35 is approximately 18,000 square feet and features apparatus bays, dormitory and support space, personnel living quarters, administrative offices and a meeting/training room. It also includes office space for a battalion chief and a Montgomery County Police Department satellite facility. Fire/Rescue apparatus located at the station includes an aerial truck, a tanker and a brush truck.
