Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, to Focus on Remembrance and Reconciliation Month and Election Security

Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Thursday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

The County Executive will discuss Remembrance and Reconciliation Month and the importance of recognizing past racism within the County. His guest on this topic will be the director of the Office of Human Rights, Jim Stowe. The County Executive will also address how the County is handling election security. He will also discuss a new environmentally friendly way to power Ride On buses.

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should contact Tracy O'Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] by 1 p.m. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
