Reporters are encouraged to participate in this week’s virtual media briefing on Tuesday, Dec. 31, at 12:30 p.m., where they will have the opportunity to ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.
The County Executive will discuss efforts to save lives by keeping impaired drivers off the road this New Year’s Eve. He will also talk about Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) efforts that led to improved public safety statistics for 2024. He will also look ahead to the 2025 Maryland General Assembly and highlight some of the County’s legislative priorities. His guests this week will be:
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
