Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, to Focus on New Budget Recommendations, Education and Workforce Talent Pipeline and GreenFest This Weekend

Reporters are encouraged to attend this week’s virtual media briefing on Wednesday, April 23, at 11:30 a.m., where they can ask Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions.

The County Executive will provide an update to his 2026 FY Operating Budget recommendations. He will also discuss a collaboration between the Universities at Shady Grove and the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation focused on workforce talent development. The County Executive will highlight efforts to protect the rights of immigrants and preview GreenFest this weekend. His guest this week will be:

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call.
