Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will visit three businesses on Thursday, May 8, in recognition of National Small Business Week (May 4-10). It is an opportunity for the County Executive to meet small business owners in Eastern Montgomery County and hear their stories. He will be accompanied by members of the Montgomery County Business Center team, who empower entrepreneurs and businesses with vital resources, streamlined permitting, funding access and provide expert guidance for growth and relocation.
During his tour, the County Executive will meet with one recipient of a Montgomery County MOVE Grant, meant to help businesses sign their first commercial lease in the County or expand their lease space by at least 500 square feet. The MOVE Grant is one of several innovative ways the County has worked to spur economic growth and add jobs.

The County Executive plans to spend about 20 minutes at each location with approximate start times of 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.
