Montgomery County to Honor Recipients of 26th Annual Recycling Achievement Awards on Tuesday, May 20, in Rockville

Montgomery County Chief Administrative Officer Richard Madaleno will join staff from the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to recognize leaders in recycling at the 26th Annual Recycling Achievement Awards from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Rockville.

The awards are a key part of Montgomery County’s Recycling Awareness Week and will recognize individuals, multi-family properties, businesses, organizations and government facilities for outstanding achievements in waste reduction, reuse and recycling. 

Recycling Awareness Week, May 19-23, highlights the community’s efforts in waste reduction, reuse and recycling, and recognizes outstanding contributions that support the County’s goal of achieving zero waste.
