Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, to Focus on How the Climate Action Plan Addresses Flooding and Impact of New Zoning Changes

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, which will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23.

The County Executive will discuss the surprise flooding Montgomery County saw on Saturday and how the County’s Climate Action Plan helps mitigate devastating impacts from floods. He will also provide reaction to the passage of the 25-02 Zoning Text Amendment on Tuesday by the County Council impacting single-family home neighborhoods. His guest this week will be:

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o'[email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
