Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich's Weekly Media Briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, to Focus on MCPD's Community Engagement and Public Safety Efforts as well as Upcoming 'National Night Out' Activities

Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, which will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30.

The County Executive will discuss public safety as law enforcement nationwide prepares for National Night Out, Tuesday, Aug. 5. He’ll talk about another big affordable housing development completed in Montgomery County this week and provide an important economic development update. His guest this week will be:

• Nicholas Augustine, Assistant Chief, Montgomery County Police Department

The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
