Tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 1, from noon-1:30 p.m. ET, County Executive Marc Elrich, County Council President Kate Stewart and County Councilmembers will welcome Rep. McClain Delaney and the Democratic Women’s Caucus (DWC) members, along with House Democrats for a visit to the Sidney Kramer Upcounty Regional Service Center, located at 12900 Middlebrook Rd. in Germantown, MD. The Members of Congress will tour the facility and meet with staff who provide essential health and human services, income supports, and public health services to community members. Following the tour, they will host a press conference to discuss their visit at 1:00 pm.

County Executive Elrich to Host His Virtual Weekly Virtual Media Briefing with
Rep. April McClain Delaney Following Congressional Visit

County Executive Elrich will conduct his weekly virtual media briefing with Rep. McClain Delaney following the visit with the Members of Congress, which will begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. The County Executive will discuss the federal shutdown with McClain Delaney and its impacts on the residents of Montgomery County and throughout the State. The County Executive will also address the enactment of “Eric’s Law” and answer questions from the media.

Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week.
