Montgomery County Commission for Women Hosts 46th Annual Women’s Legislative Briefing on Saturday, Jan. 31

The Montgomery County Commission for Women will host the Women’s Legislative Briefing (WLB), Maryland’s longest-running women’s policy event on Saturday, Jan. 31. This year’s theme “Stronger Together: Leading with Vision, Voices, and Values” will feature elected officials, policy experts, and emerging leaders focused on strengthening opportunities for women and girls statewide.

Breakout sessions include:

  • Advocacy and empowerment strategies
  • Economic justice and equity
  • Reproductive health and rights
  • Human trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence prevention
  • Emerging Leaders track for grades 6-12
