Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich to Attend Groundbreaking for NoBE II Affordable Housing Development in North Bethesda

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and County Councilmember Kate Stewart will join housing developer SCG Development Partners, LLC and other local and state officials on Friday, March 27, at a groundbreaking for the NoBE II affordable housing development in North Bethesda. 

The Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA) provided $38 million in direct financing and a Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) agreement to support the construction of the new development, which also was supported by Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and other funding provided by the State of Maryland. The property will include 268 housing units affordable to households earning 70% of Area Median Income and below.
