11th Salvadoran Day Festival

Montgomery County celebrated the 11th annual Salvadoran Day Festival. Mayor of San Salvador, Nayib Bukele (2nd from right), was on hand and joined County Executive Ike Leggett (3rd from left) to honor the day and the 195th anniversary of El Salvador’s independence from Spain on September 15, 1821. September 15 is also the start of Hispanic Heritage appreciation month when we further recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States and celebrate their heritage and culture.
