CBOC Gets "Gold Hammer" Treatment

County, State, and Federal officials were on hand for the “Gold Hammer” ceremony to redevelop space for a new County Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). It will be the first Department of Veterans Affairs community clinic in Montgomery County offering health care services to the more than 44,000 veterans living in the area. The newly renovated building space will offer 11,600 square feet with room for primary-care and mental-health clinics as well as space for tele-health, patient education, hearing aid fittings and specialty care.

The CBOC is scheduled to open in December 2017 and will be a welcomed addition for veterans in the community.
