Welcoming Our New Neighbors

The Welcoming Our New Neighbors program, growing out of the Faith Forum with elected officials last November, has engaged 30 faith communities in welcoming and resettling refugees. More than 100 faith leaders, government officials, refugee resettlement agencies and nonprofits met to share resources and initiate advocacy programs. Resources are available on the interfaith website and an outreach program to area mosques has been implemented to affirm our solidarity with the Muslim community.
