Leggett Celebrates National African American Read-In

County executive Isiah Leggett (center) recently joined students, first-grade teacher Crystal Parker (left) and Acting Principal Troy Clarke (right) at Burnt Mills Elementary School for the National African American Read-In. During the month of February, schools, churches, libraries, bookstores, community and professional organizations, and interested citizens are urged to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month by hosting an African American Read-In.
