Just in Time for Spring!

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett participated in the dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for new community playground at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy. This public-private partnership-built playground, that is also wheelchair accessible, has an area with an outside classroom, plants, trees, a performance area and vegetable garden that take the children back to nature and help them appreciate and experience the way things grow. The County Executive also participated in an awards ceremony, following the ribbon-cutting, for a competition that involved teams of children from various schools in problem-solving challenges.
