A Life Dedicated to the County

At a memorial service at Covenant Life Church, in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County celebrated the life of Firefighter (III) Charles “Rick” Gentilcore who answered his last alarm on April 7. Fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a firefighter, Rick gave more than 23 years to the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service and even more to our community. He was a career firefighter at the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department. Gentilcore is interred at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring. More photos can be seen on the County’s Flckr site.
