Nourish Now receives one million pounds of food

County Executive Ike Leggett joined Deputy Executive Director David Joffee and Executive Director Brett Meyers, both of Nourish Now, along with Council President Roger Berliner, to celebrate the million pounds of food Nourish Now had collected and distributed to families in need. Across the metro area, Nourish Now collects surplus fresh food from dedicated partners and redistributes it directly to families in need and to more than 60 Montgomery County nonprofits that provide food assistance.
