Seneca Valley HS Groundbreaking

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and many elected officials presided at the groundbreaking for a new Seneca Valley High School, set to open in time for the fall 2020 school year. The new school will have capacity of 2,440 students, nearly double the current enrollment. This capacity is necessary to handle a fast-growing student population. Among the officials with Mr. Leggett were County Council President Roger Berliner, County Council Vice President Hans Riemer, District 3 Councilmember Craig Rice and Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jack Smith.
