County Welcomes the Newest Americans

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and the County Council participate in a U.S. Citizenship Naturalization Ceremony hosted by the County in Silver Spring in partnership with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The ceremony is part of the Citizenship County-wide initiative aimed at reaching the approximately 60,000 residents of Montgomery County who are eligible to become U.S. citizens now and working in partnership with our community nonprofit service providers, County agencies and USCIS.
