Thanksgiving Parade Marches Thru Downtown Silver Spring Nov. 18

The Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade returns for its 20th year on November 18,  the Saturday before Thanksgiving. A holiday tradition, the parade attracts approximately 15,000 people each year and features over 140 marching units, including college and high school bands, musical groups, floats, inflatable balloons and much more.  The fun begins at 10 a.m. at Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street in Downtown Silver Spring. Share your parade photos on social media, #MoCoThanksParade, and you may see your selfies on the jumbotron. NewsChannel 8 is broadcasting the parade live. For more information about parking and volunteering, visit the parade’s website. See Press Release for more info.
