Minimum Wage

Councilmembers joined County Executive Leggett for a bill signing on raising the minimum wage. The Montgomery County Council voted unanimously to raise the minimum wage to $15 dollars per hour starting in 2021 for large employers and to phase this rate in for mid-sized and small employers in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
