Green Business Certification Program Now Includes Sustainable Farmers

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett joined by Department of Environmental Protection Director Patty Bubar have announced that sustainable farmers certified through USDA Organic or Certified Naturally Grown programs are now included in County’s Green Business Certification Directory. The announcement took place at the Montgomery County Agricultural History Farm Park located at 18400 Muncaster Road in Derwood. More information is available in the press release.
