Equal Pay Day
Councilmember Nancy Floreen and Council Vice President Nancy Navarro gave a proclamation recognizing April 10, 2018 as Equal Pay Day. This date symbolizes the date on which the wages paid to American women catch up to the wages paid to men from the previous year, and represents a call to action for economic justice for women. Elissa Blattman, Montgomery County NOW President, and Jeannette Fledner, MD NOW Council Representative, received the proclamation. #EqualPayDay2018
