Launching the Interfaith Network
County Executive Ike Leggett announced the official launch of the Interfaith Network of Montgomery County (INMC) at the Silver Spring Civic Building addressing its value in creating a welcoming, resilient and inclusive county. The INMC is a public-private partnership between the Montgomery County Faith Community Advisory Council and Interfaith Works. The INMC combines resources of hundreds of faith communities together in creating a compassionate, just and peaceful community. The launching event included a resource fair assembled for faith communities to empower programs including security, social justice, religious land use and religious education.
