Haley Skarupa

Haley Skarupa, who won an Olympic gold medal with the U.S. Women’s National Hockey Team at the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeong Chang, South Korea, was given a joint Council proclamation from Councilmember Sidney Katz and County Executive Isiah Leggett for her exceptional perseverance and leadership. A graduate of Wootton High School, Ms. Skarupa is an inspiration to young athletes and an excellent ambassador to the world for the United States and Montgomery County. Watch the proclamation
