Additional lane closures and work times may be necessary to complete work on schedule.
About the BRAC Project:

The west leg and the east leg of Jones Bridge Road will be widened. A third left-turn lane will be added to the west leg of Jones Bridge Road. These changes will improve the intersection of MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) and Jones Bridge Road/Kensington Parkway and allow more vehicles to travel north onto MD 185.
A Safety Reminder:
As construction at the intersection of MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) and Jones Bridge Road/Kensington Parkway continues, residents are reminded to exercise caution as they walk, bike or travel near the construction zone. Equipment used for utility relocations and construction can be disruptive. Pay attention to all posted signs, walk or bike only on designated crosswalks, sidewalks and paths, and do not walk in the road or in the construction zone.
