Department of Liquor Control to Host Fifth Annual Regional Alcohol Forum

Montgomery County’s Department of Liquor Control (DLC) will host the fifth annual Regional Alcohol Forum on Wednesday, September 10 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Montgomery County Public Safety Headquarters, 100 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg. Experts from across the region will convene to discuss topics such as late night alcohol issues, patron and adult host responsibility, and regulatory innovations.

“Increased communication and implementation of responsible programs are vital to preventing harm and keeping our county safe,” said DLC Division Chief Kathie Durbin.

This annual event, supported by the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association, brings together enforcement and regulatory agencies, prevention program administrators and members of the hospitality industry. Expert panels will discuss local programs and best practices on alcohol management.
