Commission for Women Announces Listening Tour Session in Germantown

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, August 2, 2016

The Montgomery County Commission for Women has scheduled the last session on its listening tour. County residents are invited to attend and participate in discussions regarding issues important to them. Topics raised during the listening session will help shape and influence the work of the Commission for Women.

The listening session will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, August 11 at the Germantown Library, Group Room A, 19840 Century Boulevard, Germantown. Earlier listening sessions were held in four locations across the County.

The Commission for Women addresses issues such as economic justice, violence against women, affordable child care, affordable housing, neighborhood safety, access to healthcare, and women and poverty.
