Capital Bikeshare Celebrates Installation of 400th Station

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, September 6, 2016

On August 23, the participating Capital Bikeshare jurisdictions (Maryland’s Montgomery County, District of Columbia, and Virginia’s Arlington County and City of Alexandria ) celebrated the installation of the 400^th station in the Capital Bikeshare system. This milestone installation occurred on the eve of the 6^th anniversary of the region’s bike sharing system launch.

The 400^th publicly-accessible station is located at the intersection of Division Ave & Foote St NE in the District. The 15-dock station was installed by Motivate International, operator of Capital Bikeshare.
