Highway Services Continues Road Paving/Patching Projects on Brink Road and in the Northwood Park Community

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, September 13, 2016

Repaving of Brink Road between Woodfield Road (MD 124) and Wightman Road began this month and will include roadway milling and hot mix asphalt paving as well as concrete repairs to deteriorating curbs, gutters and sidewalks. The project will take about five weeks to complete, weather permitting, and work will be done between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Access will be available at all times, but minor delays may occur.

 

Highway will begin full depth patching in the Northwood Park Phase I community in Silver Spring at the end of September. Crews will excavate the pavement and replace it with hot mix asphalt. The project should take about four to six weeks to complete, weather permitting. Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
