Montgomery County Public Libraries will partner with the Gandhi Brigade Youth Media to provide free video production and graphic design classes for high school students, grades 9 through 12.
The partnership program offers students opportunities to learn the fundamentals of video production using Final Cut Pro video editing software and graphic design using Adobe’s Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
The 12-week classes will be offered at five libraries. The program meets from 3 to 5 p.m. and will begin the week of September 19.
The following branches will offer programs on Monday:
Rockville Memorial Library, 21 Maryland Avenue
Silver Spring Library, 900 Wayne Avenue
White Oak Library, 11701 New Hampshire Avenue
The following branches will offer programs on Tuesday:
Olney Library, 3500 Olney-Laytonsville Road
Gaithersburg Library, 18330 Montgomery Village Avenue
