For Immediate Release: Thursday, November 17, 2016
On November 15, the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) held its annual recognition for its “best of the best” employees. Each Division and the Director’s Office nominate candidates and only 30 were chosen out of 1,320 MCDOT employees. In addition, those with 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service with the County were also honored.
MCDOT Director Al Roshdieh believes that it’s essential to the health of a good organization to recognize and appreciate excellence. Said Roshdieh, “Our workforce is involved and empowered, energized by their work and eager to innovate and create the very best transportation network possible for our community. The dedication of our employees is what makes MCDOT great and, through them, makes Montgomery County a wonderful place to live, work and play.”
