Montgomery County Public Libraries and Washington Career Services Offer Job Search Strategies Workshops

Under its Workforce and Business Development umbrella, Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) will collaborate with Washington Career Services to present three workshops on job search strategies.

 

The workshops will provide tools to help job seekers in today’s competitive job market. Participants will learn how to brand themselves, using a variety of job search strategies (social media, the web, volunteer experience), to accelerate job searches and stand out from other applicants.

 

The workshops will be facilitated by Melissa S. Fireman, Co-Founder & CEO of Washington Career Services, a career management firm, specializing in helping job seekers in all aspects of career development from career exploration, career transition, job search strategies, to career management. Fireman has over 20 years of experience in career development, recruitment & training.

 

Registration is now open for the Job Search Strategies workshops, offered at three MCPL branch locations:
