For Immediate Release: Wednesday, March 29, 2017

MCDOT is conducting a parking demand study in Bethesda that will analyze current parking conditions, whether the supply of parking is adequate and how future demands for parking may impact parking availability.

To help with this study, cameras have been temporarily installed in most of Bethesda’s parking garages through April 7. This will aid MCDOT in assessing the demand for parking in each garage and the turnover rate. Once the video is reviewed for the study, it will be destroyed.

The study is expected to be completed later this spring.
