To celebrate Earth Month, the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection, in partnership with the Department of Transportation, will host a series of events throughout the County in April. These events offer opportunities for residents and businesses to actively help make the County a greener, cleaner place.

“Our County residents are our greatest partner in ensuring that the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) can accomplish our mission of enhancing the quality of life in our community by protecting and improving Montgomery County's air, water and land in a sustainable way while fostering smart growth, a thriving economy and healthy communities,” said DEP Director Lisa Feldt. “Having a month dedicated to conserving our planet provides a great opportunity for renewed commitment to improve our environment.”
