Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett invites the public to attend a ceremony to rename the Montgomery County Public Libraries’ Poolesville Library to the Maggie Nightingale Library. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 29 at 2 p.m. The library is located at 19633 Fisher Avenue in Poolesville.
The library will be renamed to honor the dedication and hard work of Margaret (Maggie) Rebecca Nightingalewho served as a long-time devoted volunteer and advocate for the Poolesville Library.
The event will also include musical performances by Violinsanity made up of violinists Dominique Agnew and Becky Ross, local authors Sean Lynch and Slade Grayson and refreshments.
