Near Argyle Middle School, MCDOT's Crosswalk Zebra Demonstrate How to Enhance Pedestrian Safety by Using New Flashing Beacons

Later today, MCDOT and their Crosswalk Zebra will be joined by Argyle Middle School Principal James Allrich as they educate local pedestrians and students on crossing the road safely using the newly installed Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons. MCDOT staff is also distributing educational flyers.

This location is one of four installed by MCDOT in May to improve pedestrian safety at mid-block crossings. Read more.
