The Silver Spring Summer Concerts are free and take place outdoors on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building on Veterans Plaza, at Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive. Silver Spring’s Summer Concerts are family-friendly, with dancing, face painting, games for the kids and music in a variety of styles. The concert series features a raffle that gives away prizes for adults as well as toys and gifts for kids. The raffle opens at 6:30 pm and is awarded at intermission. Attendees may bring picnics or purchase food at one of the many nearby restaurants.

June 22 – Bobby & the Believers – Classic "horn band" sound
June 29 – David Bach Consort – Smooth Jazz
July 6 – MoCo’s Got Talent – Youth Performances
July 13 – Second Wind – 80s Hits
July 20 – Gary and the Groove – 60s Covers
July 27 – Rock & Roll Relics - Oldies
August 3 – Moxie Blues Band - Blues
The concerts are sponsored by Discovery Communications, Live Nation, the Silver Spring Urban District, Montgomery County Recreation and the Foundation to Celebrate Downtown Silver Spring. Performances will be canceled if it is raining at 7 p.m.
