Public Invited to Learn More About SHA Project to Rehabilitate Seminary Road Bridge over I-495 at Community Meeting

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, August 1, 2017

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (SHA) will hold a community meeting on Tuesday, August 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. to answer questions about the upcoming project to rehabilitate the bridge on Seminary Road over I-495 (Capital Beltway) in Silver Spring. Constructed in 1964, the bridge is safe for the traveling public, but requires repairs to extend the life of the bridge. The work is scheduled to begin later this year.

Maps and other project exhibits will be on display for public viewing and representatives from SHA will be available to answer project-related questions.

The meeting will be held in the Silver Spring Civic Building, Great Room South, 1 Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring.
